Florida 1.27 is a faith-based nonprofit in the Tampa Bay area that recruits and supports foster, adoptive, and kinship families across Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties. We use SMS text messaging to communicate with volunteers, partner churches, foster and adoptive families, kinship caregivers, and community contacts.
How to Opt In
The only way to join our text message program is to text a keyword to our number:

You may also text JOIN or SUBSCRIBE to the same number. After you text in, you will immediately receive this confirmation message:

Providing SMS consent is always optional and is never required to receive services from Florida 1.27, to attend an event, or to make a donation. We only text people who have opted in this way.

Message and data rates may apply. Such charges are billed by, and payable to, your mobile service provider. Florida 1.27 does not charge for text messages.
How to Opt Out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You may also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, or REVOKE. After you opt out you will receive one final confirmation:
Florida 1.27: You have been unsubscribed and will receive no further messages. Reply START to resubscribe.
