SMS / Text Messaging Program Terms & Conditions
These SMS/Text Messaging Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the text messaging program offered by Florida 1.27 ("Florida 1.27," "we," "us," or "our"). By opting in to receive text messages from Florida 1.27, you agree to these Terms.
1. Program Description
When you opt in, Florida 1.27 sends text (SMS) messages related to our ministry, which may include:
- Training and class reminders;
- Event notifications and schedule changes;
- Volunteer coordination and respite care requests;
- Support group and kinship group updates; and
- General organizational communications.
2. How to Opt In
You may opt in to receive text messages from Florida 1.27 by texting START (or JOIN or SUBSCRIBE) to (656) 232-1211. You will receive a confirmation message right away. This is the only way to join our text message program. Details are on our Text Message Program page.
By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number provided and that you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Florida 1.27 at that number. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or donation.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us and the programs in which you participate.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Such charges are billed by, and payable to, your mobile service provider. Florida 1.27 does not charge you for the messages, but your carrier's standard message and data rates apply. Please contact your wireless provider for details about your messaging or data plan.
5. How to Opt Out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP to the number from which you received messages. After you send STOP, we will send you a confirmation message and then stop sending you text messages. You may also opt out by contacting us using the information below. If you opt out, you may no longer receive program-related text messages from us.

7. Supported Carriers
This program is available on major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Delivery and Liability
Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless service provider and is outside of our control. We are not responsible for delays, failures, or errors in the delivery of any message, as delivery depends on factors including your carrier and device.
9. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Information you provide in connection with this messaging program is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued participation in the messaging program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
